Fundraising Is Now Underway!
It's time to show your support by sponsoring your favorite player.  Last year’s tournament raised over $60,000, and the Otters and Mystix are hoping to break that record in 2012. The fundraising goal for 2012 is $72,000. The theme for this year’s event is “Plus 12”—because this is the year 2012, and because the teams hope to raise $12,000 more than last year’s total.  In keeping with the theme, players will ask 12 more people to sponsor them—or to consider an extra $12 donation.  In every hockey game, there are 12 players on the ice.  This year, at the Face Off Against Breast Cancer, those 12 women will be playing for a common goal.

Players ready to start fundraising: download and print your Player Sponsor Sheet here.

Volunteers Needed!
We need lots of volunteers to make this tourney run smoothly! Current players and other friends are welcome to sign up  at www1.mysignup.com/wham2012. Need more info?  Contact 2012 volunteer coordinator  Anne Chabot.

2012 Team Registration Now Complete!
Wow!  This year's tourney filled up fast. Thanks for the great energy and interest.
Be aware that the tournament is a pretty hot ticket: all divisions have been full for several seasons now, and unfortunately, we've even had to turn some teams away.  Registration was taken on a first-come, first-served basis-- we took the first teams to register and pay, until all divisions were filled.

Not sure which division your team belongs in?  Co-chairs Liza Lloyd (liza@middlebury.edu or 802.989.0376) or Cathy Chase (cathychasevt@gmail.com or 802.989.0039) can help.

Tourney Party!

Join us Saturday, January 21, 2012  for the 3rd annual tourney party at Two Brothers Lounge featuring The Horse Traders.

9:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m.

Great music, delicious food and drink, and dancing. It's your chance to party like a hockey player! Come early, because this party always fills up fast. If the downstairs Lounge is full, hang out upstairs at the Tavern until your name comes up on the waiting list!
